Re: prints slightly to small

That doesn't answer any of the questions....

1) Are you using stock CTC profile that is already included in the software?
2) Attach your factory file to this thread. You can export it from the software by going to File > Save Factory File.

Re: Help with triangle pattern print

The pattern has a bunch of walls that are about 1.5mm thick. So just set your extrusion width to a manual value of 0.38mm. That way you can fit 4 extrusions in each wall (4*0.38 = 1.52mm). Remember that you have 2 extruders, so you need to make this change for BOTH entries on the Extruders tab of yo...

Re: Losing Communication to Davinci 1.0 with Repetier

The cache size needs to be set based on the PRINTER'S available serial input buffer. On most boards like Arduino/RAMPS/etc, this is usually only 127 bytes. I doubt your printer's electronics have a 16GB serial buffer...

Re: recent factory files

Works absolutely fine for me. Perhaps you reset your settings or something and cleared out the old recent files. Run this test. Open the software, and then save a new factory file as Test1.factory. Does it now show up in your recent factory files list? (it works fine for me) Then close and reopen th...

Are you using the stock CTC profile from S3D? Post your factory file so that we can take a look.

Re: My first foray into designing a print - help!

It's hard to tell just by looking at it. Attach your factory file to this thread so that we can check it out (go to File > Save Factory File)

Re: my prints are printing face down?

I'm guessing you somehow checked the "flip build table axis" checkbox for the Z-axis? (see the G-Code tab)

If that's not it, then post your factory file

Re: Different hotends on a dual setup?

Yup, you can since they allow you to set a separate extrusion amount for each extruder. Read this: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3718#p16283

Re: Print order for multiple objects

They have options to customize this more if you want. I would recommend creating multiple processes and using sequential printing which will save a LOT of time. You can read more about how to do that here: https://www.simplify3d.com/support/tutorials/multi-part-printing/ If you follow that guide, yo...

Re: BUG: DIaphragm prints at same angle as adjacent layer(s)

You can choose the order yourself in the software. With some of the infill patterns, I want the first infill layer to be aligned with the solid layer, so I'm glad it's an option. You don't always want them to be opposing. Go to the Infill tab and you can change the angle however you want. For exampl...
