Re: improve the edges

Get a smaller nozzle ;)

The edges are going to have the same radius as your nozzle, so there's not much you can do to avoid that.

Re: Creatorbot dual with heated bed - wizard?

The printer should already be compatible with the software. It's really similar to other machines that are already supported. I haven't seen many users with this printer, so you might have to create your own profile for it (thankfully, it's really easy). Just go to Help > Configuration Assistant, ch...

Re: bed temp don't go up to 120°

Again, there's nothing in the software that is going to stop it from reaching that temperature. So either you are sending your printer the wrong command, or there's something on the machine/firmware that is stopping it from reaching that temp. So let's make it really simple. Post your gcode file her...

Re: Communication errors?

That means your printer does not have the correct toolhead offsets set in the firmware. I am shocked that a manufacturer wouldn't have set these from the factory, but crazier things have happened. Contact the manufacturer and ask them how to set toolhead offsets (and why they didn't do it in the fir...

Re: Is this correct?

Looks like the original STL has some errors in it. I would run it through this service first: https://modelrepair.azurewebsites.net

Re: Simplify3D and Repetier Server

Yup. You just export the gcode file from S3D and then upload it to the server.

Re: Ecubmaker Pro 2 - configuration

That printer is pretty similar to many others that S3D already supports. I'm sure it's compatible, you just might not find a pre-built profile for it, since that machine isn't all that popular. If I was you, I would just go to Help > Configuration Assistant, choose Other, and then answer the questio...

Re: 'Hairy' print

If you truly tried all those settings and saw no difference, then you're definitely doing something wrong. Several of those settings are quite powerful and would cause a large impact to the print. For example, if you adjust some of them too far, eventually the main part would even start to be affect...

Re: bed temp don't go up to 120°

I don't think there's anything in the software that would prevent you from heating to 130C. Much more likely that your firmware has a max temp limit and is overriding your settings.

Re: badprinter2 second extruder offset

You can add that M218 file into your starting script (in S3D, click Edit Process Settings, then select the Scripts tab)
