Re: S3D V4 takes FOREVER to save my gcode file

Well I don't know how you get a 30 GB gcode file. Since most 3D-Printers can only handle FAT32 file systems, you will not be able to print or even save it to your SD-Card (since FAT32 only handles max. 4 GB files). However, if the gcode file generation is as fast as you SSD is (lets say about 450 MB...

Re: messed up meshes on s3d exit and re-load

This is a problem with big/complex STL files, I already opened a thread a week ago: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=7882

Re: Estimation Times

S3D estimates the printing time without taking any jerk and accelerations settings into account, because the Software doesn't know how the settings are in the specific printer (they are set in the firmware and applied live when printing. The deviation between estimated time and real printing time hi...

Re: Banding Issue

Dude you should use some line breaks in your text. It is very hard to read...
For me it looks like you threaded rod of your z-axis is wobbling... did you checked that?

Re: V4 Gcode viewer orbit super slow!!!

Looks on my Machine (Xeon 1650 v3, Geforce 1070 Pretty smooth, think I get my 60 fps). Whats your Hardware?
I just compared with GPU-Z on 3.1.1 and 4.0 on a complex model and moving a little bit around. Seems to me almost the same

Re: Spiral Vase Mode V4

I cannot see how it could do a continuous spiral wall with it being 2 extrusions wide, or should it narrow it to single wall ? As already said, vase mode is for single wall. Most times you can use the the option Heal with "Merge all outlines into a single solid model" to get it "vaseable" merge.png...

Re: Vase mode seam

Please humour me......and try using the attached stl file and compare with the existing one. You may need to scale by a factor of 100 to get it the same size as the original! Thats no Problem. Sliced with S3D v4 and your "magic". Still the same. It is the same problem I already mentioned here: http...

I had the same problem too.
But maybe it was the first time I started S3D 4. Now it works like expected so far.
