Re: Dual extrusion - alignment errors

Yeah... sounds like the dual extruders need a bit of calibration... Find a calibration print or follow the manufacturers instructions for calibrating.

Re: Which setting to eliminate zits on this part?

I will put the retraction back to where it was since as I mentioned things got worse when I added coast and went from 2.0 to 1.0 retraction. / Hard to tell which parameter caused the worsening of the print... coast or retraction. In both parametners, 0.1mm should go a long way. Using 1.0 is probabl...

Re: Dual Extrusion Issues -- Help!

Check your extruding temperatures... maybe the second extruder (silver) isn't at the same temp as the first extruder...

Re: Is there a way to slow down the X/Y printing during fill

No, not just a little math, because if I want to change the infill speed I have to recalculate all the percentages every...single...time. It's a royal pain in the butt. And it frankly makes no sense to have the perimeter speed and the infill speed proportional to each other. The effects of speed ch...

Re: remove broken parts when printing

How does the printer know the part is broken during printing? Need a sensor or some QC... Impossible without human intervention.

If you just want to Pause the print and remove, then Resume I think that's possible... but it wouldn't automatic.

Re: auto-level first

I highly recommend reading through the wiki page as CompoundCarl suggests. You could damage your $$$ printer if you don't understand the commands. Do a search on M190, and M109... its not a typo, they do different things. One controls the extruder and the other controls bed temps. So the printer beh...

Re: Dual Extrusion Issues -- Help!

So the silver doesn't adhere to the raft. Double check all the temps. Make sure the silver is ABS. Does the silver print okay by itself? If things don't adhere properly usually its the initial nozzle height... I'm not familiar with your machine so I can't help with adjusting the height. Regardless, ...

Re: Is there a way to slow down the X/Y printing during fill

I sure wish I could just set the speeds directly instead of having them all be relative to the infill speed. Just a little math... default speed * percentage = actual speed. :) Or desired speed / default speed = percentage Yeah, I'm used to RepG's speed of 40-90 "mm/sec" :? so when I translated tha...

Re: Which setting to eliminate zits on this part?

So the zits are gone? Now its just the ooze on the interior of the tray? Try lowering the extrusion temp a bit... that should reduce the oozing. Is this 1.75mm filament or 3.0mm filament? 1mm difference in retraction seems like a lot... IMO, the 2mm retraction seems more correct. I'm at 1.8 for 3mm ...

Re: Howto make Solid walls?

It looks solid to me...

Have you tried printing? Though it looks like there may be space between the extrusions, the actual extrusion should fill in any gaps.
