Sequential printing does not work

Using a k200 delta. So decided I'd do some sequential prints, deltas are ideal for this. But it just does not work. I'm trying to print three small objects 3mm high. Does not matter how large a number I put in the 'max height clearance' box. I've tried everything from 5mm to 300mm. At the preview sc...

Re: mirrored display in preview screen

none of them are ticked.

It's a display issue. presumably if the axis were ticked in the gcode section it would actually print in a mirror fashion.
Prints are perfectly normal. Just display is mirrored.

Re: mirrored display in preview screen

yes - and your point is ?

I said the issue STARTED with v 3.00
ie I did not have it with any version 2 of s3d.
I'm using the latest version, obviously I still have the problem :-)

mirrored display in preview screen

So for some time now every model imported into s3d displays in a morrored way. They print normally, it's just the display that's a mirror image. It just happened, I think, with the v3.00 version of s3d. Well i was just looking at the: Tools, Options menu and when i go to close it it says: 'you have ...

Re: Size difference from software to print?

are you using abs ?

This shrinks by 1-2% depending on brand, colour etc.

So with abs you ned to upscale by 1% or so before printing.

odd one - spontaneous mirroring

So sometimes when I've edited a print profile, I'll go back to the main s3d printbed display and it will mirror in both x & y axis and rearrange the print. Ordinarily this doesn't cause me any hassle, but when there is text - it's a bit of a bugger. I can't find any possible setting I might have ina...

Not serious but annoying all the same - massive rescaling

I'm currently making components for really stupidly small radio controlled 'things' lol (people, cars, I have no idea I'm just making the parts) Whenever I import an stl file into s3d that is less than 10mm across it automatically makes it ridiculously large. It's not misreading the size of the obje...

Re: Solid layers on top of infill are all messed up

Looks like your bridging speed is too low. have you tried increasing the bridging speed multiplier ? by default it's at 80% Either that or lower your printing temp so the plastic doesn't slump and do you have any air blowing on the print area to cool the extruded filament ? All of those will effect ...

dual extrusion 'wall' does not work - probably me

So i'm currently using makerware desktop for my dual extrusion prints. The purgewall does a great job of cleaning up leaky heads (rep dual clones) and keeping the print clean. I thought with version 3, s3d had implemented a similiar device. I followed the dual extrusion wizard, ticked all the boxes ...

Re: Two Different Printers From Simplify 3D

it's easier than that. Once you've edited your profile - click the 'save as new' option. And give it the name of the printer and extruder (left or right) it's for. That way you can create as many custom profiles as you like. Like you I have two slightly different printers and use custom profiles all...
