Re: Support issue

Principally there is no problem, it will be a setting, perhaps Extra Inflation Distance > zero?

Re: Program Splitting Large Model

For me it seems your model is split in two mirrored halves, so they are two separated solids. And these solids are bound into only one STL. Select your model and click to menu MESH > Separate Connected Surfaces. If it appears in the Models frame now a 2nd STL , I'm right. You can solve it by checkin...

Re: embedding M150 commands to execute

Slice a small object and have a look into the clear-text gcode. I have no doubt about that S3D writes the M-command to the gcode and it will be execute when used by the terminal-command or used with a SD-card or USB. Perhaps Octoprint is not able to pass it, analog to the prusa firmware where it is ...

Re: Thin walls not Infilling and Top Layers not sealing

I have read that the S3D Terms of Service prohibit publicly posting Factory Files, and that specific queries of S3D on this issue were not definitively resolved. Did I misunderstand what I read, or was it just inaccurate? Can you shed any light on this matter? The restriction is only available for ...

Re: Thin walls not Infilling and Top Layers not sealing

No answer is also an answer! I have found this here: https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=14061&p=53135#p53135 You are well knowing what a factory file is, but you avoid to show it. If you are using a cracked version such like "Licensed for God", than it wasn't a good idea to ask here fo...

Re: Thin walls not Infilling and Top Layers not sealing

A FFF-Profil doesn't replace a FACTORY-File! A factory contains also the STL of the model and this is needed to find out the reason. Nevertheless try out to set INFILL >>> Minimum Infill Length down to zero (now 1 mm). You are using version 4.01. If I remember right, this version was a little bit fa...

Re: Strange printing speed with Simplify3D

Generally a positive restart distance doesn't avoid oozing, it produce oozing. Compensation may be possible by using Coast and wipe and a high rate of Multiplier. But this parameters must be balanced very very well, based on best standard settings. Don't put the cart before the horse. Fact is that y...

Re: Strange printing speed with Simplify3D

I think simplify calculate a wrong amount of material. As a result of this are the artifacts on the outer shell. some print parameters could be wrong. I accidentally delete some of my profiles and had the create them new (but they aren't tested yet). Surely NO, the artifacts are caused by your sett...
