Re: Internal Brim/Skirt

@ S3D-Jake with raft you lose the optical outfit of the underside, an inside brim / skirt would be a better solution. But your changing of system concerning the distance of brim / skirt has not reached the old standard as we had in version 3.xx Before the changing I printed with 0,05 mm distance and...

Re: Quality problem, mini stairs along z axis

Factory-file, Menue FILE > Save Factory-File As .... If it would be a slicing issue, others would have it also. I do not so. Your setting can not cause this occurrence, I'm printing with 50 - 100 mm/s and my results are proper. I guess its a mechanical problem with the Z-axis because the issue regul...

Re: Quality problem, mini stairs along z axis

.... Your FACTORY-FILE please!

I guess:
- speed
- extrusion to high
- inside / outside ?
- non optimal ratio extrusion width - nozzle diameter - layer height

- mechanical issue ?

Re: unnecessary moves

... the model perhaps will be faulty.

Try out to sink it down - double-click to the model and than Z-Offset -1 mm for testing.

Without attaching your FACTORY-File here, it is impossible to diagnose the "issue".

Re: Ironing

Ok, for some user it may be useful. But I see here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gh5wC4Ti95s an extremly bad surface and I would prefer to optimate the settings. So the video shows the effect I can't find it as a perfect solution. Clearly better than before, but from a bad surface you never can't ...

Re: Ironing

Yes, such an option does not exist! But it is not necessary if all settings are well done and the bottom of the nozzle is exactly even. The most important point is the extrusion quantity. And much more important for S3D would be to return to the old First Layer option. Since they have changed the sy...

Re: Scale to Maximum Doesn't Work Properly for Round Print Beds

May be, but use the manual function to scale. Dobble-click on the object.

Picture attached, a small cylinder like a finger, scaled X / Y to 3.000%. And S3D slices it nevertheless it is a nonsense.
