Re: taz 4 help/suggestions

when the taz5 ships, does it come with the smooth side of the PEI up, or the matte side? The smooth works great for pla but not great for ABS, where the matte side works great for everything, but the parts arent nearly as shiny. also you cant use the matte side for Ninjaflex it is nearly impossible ...

Re: NinjaFlex w/ FF Creator Pro

Im not saying these things couldnt be happening, but it wouldnt slip SOOOO consistently over a 5 hour print to provide perfect results. It came out PERFECT. every layer, every line was consistent.

Re: NinjaFlex w/ FF Creator Pro

maybe i am doing things differently. First, it is GRASS GREEN ninjaflex :) so ill try even slower. i think i did 30-40mm/s last time. I put the filament in, feed it, extrude til clear. turn off pre heat. if tried pulling immediately, letting it cool to 100, or 50c and at those low temps it seems to ...

Re: Not-a-Raft

i use 123ddesign and just create .4mm high 15mm wide strips that fit the sides of my parts.
import them in to S3d and connect them essentially to the edges of the prints. works perfectly and they cut/ bend right off

Re: NinjaFlex w/ FF Creator Pro

no, I'm not having to set it to 2.0 extrusion multiplier, just saying, by the way it is, 1.05 won't make up that gap.
it extrudes very well, and prints very well, it just isn't working as it should.

and the colorfabb copperfil... i wouldn't say its finicky, it just need tuning..
