Re: Stringing-Scarring

hiya, there are a few things: 1) increase the retract setting to 5 or 7 mm. if you find that there is filament missing when it prints after the retraction, add some extra restart distance. a positive value reinserts the filament by the retract setting value plus what ever you set in the extra restar...

Re: Filament Length counter.

why was it a hassle. I really could use such a function on S3D so I can manage my spools better. my printer goes 24/7 with only down time for routine maintenance, spool changes and taking parts out. so it would be handy to have this level of monitoring so I don't have to sit there calculating etc...

Re: Change filament fucntion

Hiya,

not sure what you mean by 'relative extrusion distances' I have no problem with any aspect of the extrusion. what happens is that any movement i do whilst I have paused the print is reversed on resume.

Filament Length counter.

Hiya, I thought of an addition of a filament length counter which would be great to keep track of the total amount used and what's left. basically you have the initial filament to be used in the report within the preview. but if it could keep a log of what was left too. in other tab, to add filament...

Change filament fucntion

Hiya, I would like to see a change filament fucnction on the machine control panel. I tried to do this but when I pressed resume it spat it out resetting to the pre pause state. allowing a user to change to a new spool when the one in use is or has run out. I try and use the short bits and have to a...

Bottom layer of support material.

Hiya,

Is there a way not to print the bottom layer of the support material.
It's the solid layer similar to the top layer.

I want to keep the top layer. I have a one layer separation but it is still a problem getting rid of that layer from my parts.

Cheers
