Re: Shift when starting print in new process with infill

I printed out the part again and it still happened. Far less, but still visible. I removed the bottom and top layers between processes, and only left infill. It doesn't seem visible on vertical edges. Here are pictures and factory file if someone would be kind to check it out. https://www.mediafire...

Re: Goto Center of build platform.

Upon further thinking you may want to modify that macro to home X and Y before attempting to move to the middle.

G28 X0 Y0 ; Home X and Y
G1 X75 Y75 ; Move to center assuming center is (75,75)

Re: Process versus Profiles etc

Thanks, getting clearer - But, if a process determines which profiles are applied to which objects, then those objects must be present in the process right? How then is a process distinct from a factory? Does a process merely store the link to a group of STLs while the factory actually bundles the ...

I can confirm that the default behavior works for me, as well. Like Joe said you can alter the start script in the scripts tab.

Okay let me ask again but differently. For instance "Pronterface" in the jog control section has a button right in the center of the jog controls that allows for quick centering of the print head. Does it matter why I want to do this. does it? it was a question of can/does this do this? Ive become ...

Re: e3d Cyclops on leapfrog

Hello DarthRevan, it's make sense yes ! very clever :) I will hope there is a way to setup this one time for ever . Not at each job . Exporting the FFF once you've set it up should save it for reuse. Because the nozzle will be in the center position of the 2 current one that are 3.5 cm distant , i ...

Re: e3d Cyclops on leapfrog

The toolhead offsets are firmware coded on most machines, so some coding may be required to overcome that. Definitely seems doable though. If you were using 2 processes, (one for each extruder) you could simply offest the G-Code by what the distance between the nozzles used to be on the T1 Process. ...
