Re: My supports need supports!

Could you post a picture of the results you're describing? I'm not sure I completely understand what you're experiencing.

Re: Brim acting weird

So what I would do is alter the default profile for your printer to have the first layer speed at the amount at which it works for you. When starting new print jobs just select the altered profile with the slower 1st layer speed.

Re: Brim acting weird

We've tried that with no success. Why is the outside of the brim and the part profile sticking fine, but the interior of the brim isn't sticking right? If re-leveling your bed hasn't helped and printing slower fixes things I'd say make a separate process for your first few layers that prints much s...

Re: How to modify models in S3D ?

If you have more than one model in the the one STL file, I don't thing S3D can split them and you'll only be able to apply the processes to the stl file and not the induvidual models within. I would suggest splitting them up. If you are using inventor I can tell you how. Splitting them up would def...

Re: Simplify3D with Makertbot Replicator 2X

These are the gcode (MB) and factory (S3D) files from the calibration model. I did not see an option to export a gcode file from S3D. The Rep 2X simply cannot print a perfect circle from day one. I was attributing this to the hardware, but after I printed the calibration cylinders with S3D, which p...

Re: direct down load

Come to think of it it'd be great if S3D had its own place to post and share and rate models.

Re: Wifi

Wifi compatibility would be nice. However I ALWAYS watch my first few layers get printed, so I may as well bring my SD card over t the party anyways. :D

Re: Gap in bridge

Have you tried changing your infill outline overlap percentage? It is strange that it only creates a gap on the one side.
