Re: Bridging Extra Inflation Distance Does Nothing?

On the left, Extra Inflation Distance = 0....on the right, Extra Inflation Distance= 2mm

Nothing else to add, really....other than "Oh, yes it does!"

Now what's your real problem?

Re: Print complete complete error

You are going to have to explain in a little more detail what issues you are having. The printing process is done in either two or three distinct phases. If printing using SD card, then there's the slice, the writing of the gcode to an SD card, and then the actual print on the printer in isolation f...

Re: Force outer perimeter to single extrusion

I think you need to go back to the CAD of this gear. It appears not only to be made up of 767 separate elements, but the teeth, having been made separately, do not overlap the core of the wheel fully...and are seen by the slicer to have a very, very small gap between the tooth and the core of the ge...

Re: Taz 6 Spark from the nozzle and led screen died

Using a wire brush around the nozzle could do one of three things. Short the heater supply out Short the thermocouple out Connect power from the heater supply to the thermocouple Any of these has the capability of damaging the controller board. And there might even be a fuse somewhere that you've bl...

Re: ANET A3 Not listed

Read this from the page you identified that your printer is compatible: Hooray! Your Anet A3 is supported! When you open Simplify3D for the first time, you’ll be prompted to select your printer from a drop-down list. This will automatically apply the optimal settings for your printer and make it eas...

Re: Last layer settings

Think about how "vase mode" works......then ask yourself the question! Vase mode prints a spiral. When it gets to the top, there can only be one of two things the printer can do: 1) Stop printing dead.....thus leaving a visible step or 2) Taper the top layer from full thickness to somewhere near zer...

I've never used the Dual extruder wizard as I don't have a dual extruder printer....but.....Please define.... from the list, Is it the Process list: Capture.JPG or the Profile list in this dropdown: Capture2.JPG If the former then fool you....as its dangerous to store your precious profiles on your ...

Re: Change noozle size inside a same print?

Think about the mechanics of changing nozzles! Think!

Nozzles body lengths vary....the position where the nozzle is "locked" can vary. How can you set the nozzle to bed distance with a part-completed print stuck on your bed?

Buy a two extruder printer.....or upgrade your printer to two extruders.
