Re: Tip of the Day 30 - Using 3DTouch, CubeX,CubePro and Rap

The new 3.1 version is working a lot better for me too. Quite happy with it :D I am a bit perplexed because the post processing code is very similar. The flow control is awesome though, very happy. Thanks s3D team I am realizing though that this still won't solve some of the main issues which are v...

Re: Tip of the Day 30 - Using 3DTouch, CubeX,CubePro and Rap

I've been out of this thread for a long time now. I can say that I've given up on the CubePro. It is not worth the time and effort to get good prints. The early folks and Simplify3D made the CubePro a usable machine for a while, but constant filament errors, lousy bed adhesion, and very very fragile...

Re: shifting layers

Oh well seems nobody like me has any further ideas, thanks all A loose build plate could cause misalignment. If you have glass clipped onto a build surface, the glass could be shifting slightly during the build. another cause could be a stepper-driver going bad. This has happened to me twice--with ...

Re: What causes these missing lines?

hiya, for the ears to the base I'd suggest just make a disc 0.2 - 0.5 mm thick. save as stl. Import it and copy as many as you need. then place them. a double click on the disc will allow you to resize it. thinner/thicker/bigger or even make it oval to suit. I did this before I started using buildt...

Re: CubePro using nylon

Thanks for you reply. I have tried to decode the .cubepro file from the cubepro software but it will not work. I think the issue is that to use nylon I had to upgrade to the lastest version of cubepro software and the .cubepro output from this version (V1.101) will not decode in Codex, although it ...

Re: CubePro using nylon

Hi I am wanting to experiment using white nylon in my cubepro. Does anyone know the three digit material code that the cubepro uses to signify nylon material. For example in the line "^MaterialCodeE1:259" the number 259 signifies ABS. Anyone know the code for nylon? Any other advise, like best extru...

Re: PETg and need a little extra "depth" or Z - FFCP/Sailfis

Hey everyone, I'm coming from RepG and start to play with Slic3r but that just pissed me off too much. While I can print ANYTHING with RepG on ABS and PLA (been doing it for years) i've just started to play with eSUN PETg  Last week while frustrated I saw a great vid/tutorial saying you need...

Re: FlashForge ABS on Borosilicate Glass Won't Stick

Assuming you're level, it just sounds like you're too far away from the bed. This may sound like a broken record, but make sure your print bed is level and spaced appropriately from the nozzle. If you've verified that the bed is level, try subtracting .1mm from the "Z axis offset" in the GCODE tab--...
