Re: CubePro Compatibility

Hi All, Ok so I've had some far better prints from the profiles that are on the thread which is great. With regards to the DUO which I have, there doesn't seem to be anything in to the tool exchange section of the G CODE. Have we got something that's supposed to go in there? As when using the 2 ext...

Re: Ghosting image on part...

Has anyone ever seen a problem like this? I have attached the photo. The print is actually creating a "ghosted" outline of the part offset on the solid layers of the part. This is not ringing as it is a single ghosted image and it is offset by a good inch or two. Normally one may blame the hardware...

Re: CubePro Quality for small parts

HI Rassilon50, I was trying to PM you but it looks like I need more posts on here to do so. Anyway, I want to pick your brain a little as I have a Cube3 and wanted to use Simplify3D instead of the proprietary software that comes with the Cube3. What I'm wondering is if Simplify 3D creates a .cubepr...

Re: What is going on

I this is a new setup using A wade type extruder and an E3D lite hotend. also the extruder is chopping chunks out of the filament every now and then P1030403.jpg This is supposed to be solid, and it is not round as it should be. At first glance, it looks like you're under-extruding. If you're pushi...

Re: HIPS - PLA Help

I have a spool of Hatchbox HIPS-PLA filament and I am confused if this means I can use this filament as support on one extruder and PLA on the other as the main material. The box says "HIPS-PLA". Does that mean it is HIPS that's meant to work as support for PLA prints or that HIPS is a kind of PLA ...

Re: CubePro Quality for small parts

Unless a triggered script action is available (tool change, etc) there really isn't anything you can do with this printer. you cannot slow the print down because you cannot slow the extrusion rate accordingly. your best bet is to print multiple martians. this will move the hot nozzle off the small ...

Re: CubePro Quality for small parts

Hi, Been playing around with the software for the CubePro and putting some test prints through. Undoubtedly it's far better than the native software but I'm having an issue with the simple print. I've been looking at the tutorials and quality pages etc but still trying to get my head around all the...

Re: Bed shifts on Z during printing, forming blobs in layers

Experiencing a very odd phenomenon, which I have not been able to isolate. It became very pronounced when printing a brim on a model today. During printing, it will consistently jerk / recoil the bed away from the print head during part of the layer causing a very wide blob to form. This gets compo...

Re: ABS+PVA ooze issues

[quote="streambox"]I'm trying to print ABS + PVA support material on Flashforge Creator Pro. It looks "ooze" wall for ABS part is getting dragged. Not sure if this is retraction or ooze settings. Any advice on what should I try? I've not had much luck with this combo either. While it may be possible...

Re: Windows 10 little trinket of joy.

hiya every one, thought I'd share this. If you are using Windows 10 and are like me, you may have ignored the 3D builder program that is included. Now I have realised it's a handy little tool. if you need to break up a .STL file then this will be a great help. (it does other things too) I used it t...
