Re: Tip of the Day 30 - Using 3DTouch, CubeX,CubePro and Rap

Your S3D script doesn't change. You should use one of the ones included in the .fff files in this thread. My Python script is separate from S3D. It processes the gcode file after you "Save Toolpaths to Disk" from S3D. You must have Python installed on your computer to run it. I'm using a Mac but th...

Re: Placeholder Variable List Request

Since nobody answered is there really no placeholder for total build time value that was calculated and material used? ;TIME: [total time in seconds] ;MATERIAL: [material used in mm] There ARE other placeholders, but for some reason, there is significant resistance to making them public. I've used ...

Re: Cubex Trio with Rumba and Marlin

Awesome! If you could provide a few pics and maybe a quick instructional, I'm sure that would be really helpful to many who want to turn their expensive CubeX/CubePro 3D printers into actually useful printers! At this point I would just run through the standard RepRap calibration process http://rep...

Re: CubePro Compatibility

I have had this issue too and had to strip the motors down to free the filament. In my experience there are a few things that can make this happen though. Wrong extruder temps is one reason. I run the PLA at 210 for first layer then 200. If you are doing a mixed material build with ABS and PLA, I f...

Re: CubePro

Hi everyone, i own a CubePro and i am not happy with its software , it gives me prints that i am not happy my very cheap ROBO3D gives way much better prints than my CubePro by a simple Slic3R, so i am wondering if you are happy with Simplify3D for your Cubepro if you own one. By switching to this w...

Re: CubePro Compatibility

Hi, I've a new problem with my cubepro profile. Like I said in my last messages, I can extude ABS without issue. But for few days, I have tried to extrude PLA to create support. With the Cubepro software, there is no problem, but with S3D after 5 or 6 mm, the printing stops with the error code F22....

Re: Tip of the Day 30 - Using 3DTouch, CubeX,CubePro and Rap

hi I am at .2 layers. I need to get .1 the balance is having the layers adher to each other. which I jiggle in the m108 , speed and extrude with percentage. I'm sure there is a clever way to figure this, but I'm not sure what it is. I will continue to experiment. for bed leveling, I have a heated b...

Re: CubePro Compatibility

hello, ok I will try to explain it. partlist: Arduino Mega 2560 Ramps1.4 5x DRV 8825 3 Relais automotive 24V Poversupply 12V Powersupply Display LCD 2004 with SD Card reader or LCD 12864 with SD Card reader Fan 60mm 12V so, I think this are the parts. What we do is, we left all the Cubepro electron...

Re: Any new placeholders in 3.0? and other related questions

Hah, ok well that's fine for a wishlist. I can tell you though, many of the placeholders only make sense in one specific script. For example, it may be retraction related or first layer temperature related. So as far as actually giving you guidance for how to do something with v3.0, it would be bet...

Re: Scripting placeholder not working

So I have a CubePro Trio with the following in the Tool Change Script. When the Final .gcode is created, everywhere that [current_Z_position] apears, it is not being converted to the z position. The string [current_Z_position] remains in the gcode. Is there a trick to getting Simplify 3D to actuall...
