Re: Individual Hole Compensation

You can search for most of the new settings by name. For example, click Edit Process Settings and type "compensation" into the search bar in the top right. You can click on "Horizontal Inner Size Compensation" and it will take you to that exact setting on the Layer tab where it i...

Re: Simplify3d issue

MacOS 10.13 is quite old, so there could be several things going on. I would recommend contacting our team directly at the link below so that they can assist better:

Re: Custom profile changes are not saved

If things like layer height and extrusion multiplier also aren't being saved, I would start to think something else is at fault. Is there any chance you are running Sophos anti-virus software? We had a few users on the forum mention a bug in that anti-virus software that apparently corrupts other ap...

Re: "Support Pillar Size "does not change

I don't think we've seen anyone else complain about this feature not working. When you change the pillar size that only affects NEW pillars that you add to the model. For example, if you change it to 10mm, add a new support to the model, then click "Prepare to Print", you will see a big 10...

Re: Chamber temp not changing in gcode file

Look at your starting script for the first process. It has all of these lines in it:

M190 S95
M104 T3 S70
M218 T0 Z-0
M218 T1 Z-0
M218 T2 Z-0

So that's why those same lines show up in the gcode. Not a bug, it's just using the starting script that you entered.

Re: Chamber temp not changing in gcode file

In your 2nd process the chamber temperature is still set to 70 degrees, so that's probably where the value is coming from. Try changing the temp in both processes if you want it to be 85C for the whole print.

Re: Support style change or bug

If your part has very thin walls, then you likely want to use a lower support pillar resolutions to make sure the supports can correctly adjust to the shape. Try lowering the support pillar resolution to 1 or 2mm instead of 4-10mm and see if that solves the problem.

Re: Custom profile changes are not saved

Odd... I don't think we've seen anyone else have this issue. If you click "Edit Process Settings" and try to change other settings like layer height or extrusion multiplier, so those changes save successfully?

Re: Want to add pre-extrusion g-code

One easy way to prime both extruders is to just enabled the skirt addition in S3D. You can set the skirt to use "All Extruders" and then it will draw a loop with each extruder to make sure they are all fully primed.
