Re: More Info About New Version 3.1.0 Update!

In case you haven't seen it yet, there's also a new option to choose the export file format in the post-processing section. So it looks like it just takes a single click now to toggle between creating a .gcode file, .x3g, .3w, .bfb, etc. I tested a few of these myself and it seems quite easy to use...

Re: Version Management?

It did that when I upgraded from 2.2.2.
I just unistalled 2.2.2 using the uninstaller in the folder and all was good.
If you have any issues with your license, you can reset it from your account on the S3D website.

Re: How to increase non print move speeds?

I would recommend looking at your retraction settings rather that speed.

Re: V3 tries to print with cold extruder

In the temperature tab, you need to select "wait for temperature controller to stabilise before beginning build".
I haven't checked your factory file but I'm guessing this is not checked in your settings.

Re: How to Use a New FFF at a Specified Layer

You need to slow the speed down to allow small/thin parts to cool between each layer.
Take a look at the cooling tab in settings, you should be able to configure that to do this for you.
I would also recommend a layer fan.
Re the dent, not sure about that one. My retract is set to 2mm

This is exactly what's happening !
I've been scratching my head over this for ages.

Just noticed there's an upgrade account button which asks for your product key.
