Re: Sequential Printing no longer works 4.1.1

I've attached an example. I've completed this print in prior versions but in the current version it only prints layer-by-layer even though I've set in to print sequentially every 2mm.

Sequential Printing no longer works 4.1.1

I'm trying to print a bed full of parts using sequential printing with a known working max clearance height but S3D seems to be ignoring this and is slicing layer-by-layer. Based on another thread this was an intentional feature of 4.1? The only way I can get sequential printing to work is by having...

Re: How can I configure the new Collision Detection?

In reality they've just broken the already functional Sequential Printing for multiple parts and forced it to be layer by layer regardless of what settings you use. This "feature" removed functionality.

Wipe in to part

I think a great way to control zits and seams would be to have Wipe Moves go inside the part, away from the outer layer, at the close of a loop. This wouldn't eliminate the artifacts like Stratasys's patent but it should make a noticeable difference and most importantly doesn't violate the patent si...

Re: Coast Distance for Perimeter Only

After some testing I've found out this is not possible with multiple processes

Coast Distance for Perimeter Only

Title says it mostly. I'm working on minimizing my seams and coasting is a great feature but it doesn't play well with infill or support. Having an option to Coast for just the perimeter, possibly even just the outer most perimeter could be great. I believe I can do this with multiple processes but ...

Add cooling option for first layer on top of supports

Certain filament like PET can't use much if any cooling because of severe layer adhesion issues. Considering they don't warp while cooling slowly this isn't a terrible issue. What I would like is if we could take advantage of the layer adhesion issue and turn on the cooling fan for lines being laid ...

Re: Better cooling settings for petg

Hi PETG is my new go too filament, It's like the perfect mix of ABS and PLA:) It does have one down side tho, It's stringy when printing which makes bridges especially tricky. Now Simplify 3d has awesome cooling setting for bridging already, but my problem occurs more when bridging over infill. Tur...

Re: PowerSpec 3d Print Issue

Thanks for you reply. Before these issues I had previously installed Sailfish and printed a number of upgrades and bought a glass build plate. I also tried most of those troubleshooting steps and was about to put in a new PSU when Microcenter finally said they would try to repair it. Since I had suc...

Re: Robo 3D Purge at Start

I've done it! (sort of) I can now successfully print an anchor that primes and cleans the print head before the start of each print. I want to modify it a bit, but here's what I've got so far: G28 ; home all axes G1 Z5 F5000 ; lift Z by 5mm M565 Z-0.57 ; set the offset for auto-leveling mechanism G2...
