Re: Feature Request : Mouse Ears

Well you can kind of cheat and do this using the support function. It looks like it might work but not sure as haven't tried it.

Here are some settings you could try.

Re: Adjustable infill

This is something which would make a good difference. There is a way of doing this at the moment. Lets say your printing a 20mm cube with 0.2mm Layer Height. You could create the first process with 5% infill and to stop printing at 16mm high using the advanced > Layer Modifications section, Then cre...

Re: Feature Request : Mouse Ears

I'm not sure there would be a good way to know where about's a model would start curling as having your bed slightly out could be the issue so the software wouldn't be able to accommodate for this. Isn't it possible to brim the hole model by setting the distance from part at 0mm?

Re: cannot print using simplify 3d

Are you sure your printer is connected correctly?

Are you able to control your printer using the machine controller built into the software?

External Edges

Hello, I would like a feature adding where I can set the infill speed as 1 setting, the inset (first Shell) as another speed and the final outer shell as another. Makerware has this feature in there custom profiles and it very helpful and would really like this adding into this software. It means I ...

Re: Problem with dual extruders

Are you using sailfish or the Makerbot Firmware which came with the printer?

Sailfish has an issue with dual extrusion on this printer but the Makerbot firmware 7.5 works fine.

Re: prints slightly to small

Hello, I have had plenty of issues using sailfish with Simplify3D on a CTC printer and although it work fine with Makerware, it did not get along with Simplify3D at all. I had a huge issue with trying to do a dual print on both software's so I put the printer back to makerbot firmware 7.5 and all wo...

Add custom support structures tweak

Hello, It's not so much a feature needed but more of one which just needs looking at. When adding support material using the Add new support structures tool, when I click and hold the left mouse button to rotate the part, it adds the support material and rotates the part which makes this feel more l...

Re: External Fill Pattern Infill Angle Offsets

When using the older version. 2.X If you was to edit the infill angle offsets, this would work for both the inner and out layer assuming you used the rectilinear option for the infill. This was one of my favorite tricks as it allowed me to cover up the little gaps while keeping the multiplier low so...

External Fill Pattern Infill Angle Offsets

You are able to add infill angle offsets for the internal fill pattern. I would like this feature adding to the external one as well please as when I use the rectilinear option, I am left with tiny little holes where the filament hasn't over lapped. I know I can fix this by increasing the extrusion ...
