print finishes but simplify is still sending gcodes

Has anyone else had the print finish completely but Simplify3D is still sending gcode to the printer for up to 45 seconds after the print has finished and all the axis's have homed. I have been trying to figure out why this is happening now and never used to happen. This is on a modified Openbeam Ko...

Re: Machine Control Communication Verbose Filtering

+1 to that!
At very least, have a second check box to filter out the temp monitoring as we can all see the temps in the accessory control of the machine gui

Re: Slicer behavior for thin walled sections

I agree this issue needs to be addressed. I can successfully print thin walls on my Dremel 3D printer with the Dremel printing software which has a nozzle size of 0.4 and uses slic3r as the slicing program. Slic3r correctly adjusts the wall thickness to enable the plastic to print, whether accurate ...

Re: Not all process settings are saving for different materi

But if the material choice changed ALL of the settings, then what would the quality or extruder choices do? Most of the time, you just want the material choice to change some specific settings like temperatures, fan speeds, maybe coasting or retraction settings. Then the quality choice can be respo...

Re: Heatbed indicator in machine control panel

This seems to have fixed itself after uninstalling all the previous versions of S3D that were not automatically removed when I updated to the latest versions. That begs the question as to why the installer doesn't either upgrade the existing install or remove the previous version prior to installing...

Heatbed indicator in machine control panel

Just recently the little red virtual LED that brightens when you turn on the heat bed, has quite lighting up. The heatbed turns on and temp is reported back to S3D and the Viki2 LCD also shows the heatbed icon active and temp rising.. Anybody have an idea why this would happen? It doesn't affect the...

Weird startup behaviour

I have had this happen a few times now.... I power up the printer (using Azteegv5rev3) and wait until I hear the PC find the SD card and populate it in explorer's window. I then hit the connect button (com3 showing by default) and it fails to connect. I hit refresh button on the ports and try connec...

Not all process settings are saving for different materials

I'm using version 3.1.1 but this has been an issue in previous versions as well. Its very annoying that when I switch material profiles that some of the process tabs settings do not change. eg: the extruder tab.... settings should be saved with the material profile since PLA, PETG, ABS, Flexible etc...

Memory leak in 3.1

The new update has a memory leak issue. If you drop a model on the visual table, slice it, then exit preview mode and remove the model, the task manager shows the Simplify3D task's private memory usage does not go back to what it was prior to attempting the slice. What's worse, if you do this 3 or 4...

Re: Bridging bug

I contacted support and asked why this obvious bug exists in a paid piece of software. Their reply: Greetings! Thank you for contacting Simplify3D support. I'd be happy to forward your suggestion to our development team. They are actively working to improve the software and create new great feature...
