Re: PETG/Filament building up on nozzle during large print.

I found a major issue with my printhead after closer inspection, the PETG was oozing out the threading also, so I redid the whole thing and changed the nozzle to the original version (basically same except not as pointed). I will also print at 235c this time around. I'll leave the speed alone for th...

Re: PETG/Filament building up on nozzle during large print.

My calipers measure it as 1.69-1.72mm measurement. I was printing at 80mm/s but the first layer was only set to 60% of that and it starts building up a TINY bit of filament from the start (grows as time goes on to nozzle blocking levels)

PETG/Filament building up on nozzle during large print.

I have this really annoying issue and I can't determine if its because of over-extrusion or temperature or some other weird happening. I have read up on allot of issues similar to this one but not quite like my issue. The problem starts off VERY slowly by building up a tiny bit of filament on the no...

Re: S3D not generating supports correctly.

Managed to partially fix this by reducing the support angle allot. Seems rather flawed that it can't replicate the supports shown in preview mode. Ok managed to resolve it setting 30degree support angle and changing support infil from 15% to %25 and adding in some angles (got 0 and 45 degrees atm wh...

S3D not generating supports correctly.

So I have this part I need printing with two screw holes and a rectangular hole and I add support that fills the holes, but when I go to prepare in gcode it just has a small part of the support on one side or the other and my prints end up collapsing because no support really exists. I will provide ...

Re: Wall/Model parts missing

Ok nothing technically wrong with model, however its related to the wall thickness. If I expand the model with horizontal size compensation, it more or less fixes it. I will need to experiment with this as it will make the model too large I think. Combo of that setting at 0.20mm and scaling down 1% ...

Re: Wall/Model parts missing

Fixed the gap in the model, no luck. Seems it just can't print this as parts are too thin or something.

PS. I ran the model through slicer and it too had issues, seems its a bad model, wondering how the guys I got it off printed it?!

I tried to fix it with azure, no luck :(

Re: Wall/Model parts missing

Sorry file is too big. people I got it off printed fine.

I do see a gap in the model near the issue so I might try and patch that up.

Re: Bottom layer holes being FILLED in

Found a solution, changed layer height to 0.201 as suggested on another thread. All good now, must be some invisible problem with the model, but this will do as a fix.
