Re: Start point in concave location

Yes, this is the only workaround at the moment.
But much effort and sometimes impossible when printing multiple parts.

The better way would be, to perfect the retract/unretract settings with different speeds proposed here:

Re: Speed Setting for small Circles

Not necessarily... In your case the tower is an "island". But if you have a 50mm cylinder with a 3mm diameter hole, the hole is not interpretet as "island". And so a slowdown for islands has no effect. It's no problem to print a 50mm diameter circle at 80mm/sec. The printhead needs ~2 sec to "draw" ...

Re: Speed Setting for small Circles

I agree with SpeedX. Slowing down Outlines will slow down whole print significantly ! In Slic3r this is one of the most important settings for me. For High Quality prints in Slic3r I use: 200mm/s for infill 140 mm/s for Perimeters 80mm/s for Outlines 60mm/sec for small circles. With this settings, S...

Re: Start point in concave location

If your printer and S3D is perfect adjusted, S3D can create nearly unvisible seams.
No matter where the seam is located, except in corners,
Thanks to coast/wipe function !
Unfortunately Slic3r don't have an adjustable coasting option.

However the concave option would be nice...

Re: outline underspeed: specify number of perimeters

Hi,

if we could adjust different speeds for Outline/Perimeter/Infill, printing would be even faster...
With Slic3r for example, I can print ~30-40% faster as with S3D.

I hope we can have this "feature" in a near future update !
