Re: Multi Process Grouping bug

Well the issue I am having now is that it "IGNORES" my instructions. I created 35 processes for the 35 objects so I could order the slicer to slow down the first layer of each object. S3D completely ignores my instructions and pretends the "first layer" settings don't exist for anything but the firs...

Need help modifying a factory file change STL without changing the factory file

S3D has no easy way to associate a mass of STL files with a MASS of processes. I am stacking 35 identical files vertically. I need to CHANGE that file but my god its such a pain because S3D REMOVES the "stl" association with the process when I change the STL file which means I have to edit 35 indivi...

Multi Process Grouping bug

Nasty little bug. caused me a lot of pain today :-) I have a 35 object 35 process factory file. that was fun forming that since there is no automated way to do it :-) anyway I also had to use variable settings to process each process. no way to automate this sadly (would be nice to "modify one" and ...

Re: V5 Features requests

I Would like to see a way to EXPAND processes (one of the single most powerful features of S3D) what I am doing right now is an example. I am printing 35 of the same object but I am "stacking" them vertically with a 0.4mm gap between each one. think of it like sequential printing but Vertically (yes...

Re: V5 Features requests

Another feature I would like to see. if its already their I have not found it yet. Auto split processes! if I put 20 objects on the bed and create a process I want to then have simplify 3d copy that profile 19 more times and assign each to 1 object each. instead of me having to manually do it 19 tim...

V5 Features requests

Please work on Vase mode a little. multi process vase mode is "iffy" at times. it always "finishes" the one vase section and then starts a new vase section creating an obvious visual artifact at this junction instead of just transitioning to the new vase mode. maybe this is not possible because of h...

Multiprocess Instructions ignored on subsequent processes?

I am printing 4 fins. 2 processes per fin. I require a top layer at the top of the first vase mode process in order to support the subsequent non vase mode layers. Instructions to include a top layer are summarily ignored by simplify3D this is a bug (from what I gather a designed to be their bug?? I...

Re: Turn off Bridging Angle change

yes I found that and it works. it applies to the whole model of course so it "effectively" turns off intelligent bridging (which is actually really nice) SO a solution (I really wish I could "add process" with a click in the layer preview so I can find my desired layer and click "add process here" a...

Turn off Bridging Angle change

The latest version added an intelligent bridging function where it would bridge "perpendicular" across the gap instead of at the normal "infill angles" for a lot of bridging this makes sense but for massive open area square bridging this does not work so well. bridging at 45' starting in a corner an...

Re: Vase mode not working for some reason specific case

Nope no insult taken the models are not mine I did not realize they were not manifold of course what it's doing makes perfect sense with them not being manifold!

That also explains why merging them which makes it manifold fix the problem :-)
