Slicing model incorrectly: Hollow when should be solid

I'm trying to print a model and its supposed to be solid. When I slice it, it makes it hollow. If I turn the model say 90 degrees, it slices it differently. More solid, but still some hollow parts. Whats going on with this? I just wasted so much pla. Need to get in the habit of checking layer by lay...

How To: Calibration Boxes

I tried printing a case for a raspberry pi, its a little off and the pi barely fits. I'm sure the file is fine and I just need to calibrate/tune for each material/manufacturer I'm using correct? I have the FlashForge Creator Pro and have files for a 20mm cube and also the "calibration cat". There ar...

Nozzle Purge Settings with Glass Corner Mounts

The starting gcode purge settings were fine until I added a glass bed and corner mounts/clips to hold it in place. The front right one is in the way of the purge now so it just globs onto it and when it goes to print sometimes some is sticking to it. Anyone have settings I could use who are also usi...

Re: Saving GCode Starting Scripts

I see, so when I go into the profile, make the changes to the startup script for left extruder and update the profile. So it only saved the change for left extruder for that particular profile? So ill have to do with for each of my profiles then correct?

Saving GCode Starting Scripts

I know you can save profiles. I have been making individual profiles per material type and manufacturer of filament I'm using. All good there, my question is for starting scripts. I have a flash forge creator pro, so two extruders. I need to change the location where the left extruder/nozzle purges ...

Re: 3D printed supports with supports off

FIxed, even though they weren't displaying, the support feature was still ticked. Unticked it and all good now

3D printed supports with supports off

I tried printing this object, but it printed what appear to be supports in some of the holes. I didn't have supports enabled more did I see any in the preview screen. Any reason it would do this? Please see picture attached.

Difference Between .x3g and .gcode

When I save the file for printing it gives me 2 files. Do I need to put both the .x3g file AND the .gcode file on my sd card for my Flash Forge Creator Pro? What's the difference between the two? The flash forge only sees the .x3g but do I still need both on the sd card?
