Re: Best Glue for PETG & PLA

The best glue will always be by solvent welding. Buy paint stripper that is/contains methylene chloride (dichloromethane). It will solvent weld both PLA and PETG.

Re: Locked Prime Line (Or Any Object) Location

Sounds like you might benefit from filaswitch (https://github.com/spegelius/filaswitch). It does nice prime towers for multimaterial prints and can be linked directly from S3D. At least you would get away from using two different towers.

Re: Ability to change # of decimal places/increase decimal places to 6

I'm just curious why kind of system you can possibly have that has 100 nm linear resolution.

Re: Batch slicing of STL files

No. There is no command line option for S3D that I know of. CuraEngine can do this quite easily, however.

Relative/absolute extrusion should use G90/G91 at the beginning of each process

I was just doing some testing in which I was setting up a continuous print with two processes, in which one process used absolute extrusion and the other used relative extrusion. There isn't necessarily a good reason to do this, but it is a scenario that could happen. S3D does not provide the approp...

Problem going to between Sailfish and Marlin profiles

I have run into a problem where the output gcode does not match the profile. I have noticed an issue if I open a factory file that is saved with a profile that uses a Sailfish-based firmware and then delete that profile and put in a Marlin-based firmware profile, the output gcode still uses Sailfish...

I believe I have seen something similar, though not consistently.

Re: Camera creeps downwards while rotating view. profile: Builder Extreme 2000

Confirmed on a custom 630x320x240 profile (though it is X axis movement in that case). I also believe it only happens after supports have been placed.

EDIT: It does happen before supports are placed, but it is significantly worse afterwards.

Re: Camera creeps downwards while rotating view. profile: Builder Extreme 2000

I see it for the CR-10 profile. Probably others as well, but I'll have to explore.
