Re: Micro pauses in print.

I mean, who TF posts pictures of fixing a problem and withholds the fix? Seriously. happens more often than one would expect :( .. anyhow, that blobs/zits problem is pretty well documented on the "quality" / "issues" pages about 3d printing, both on s3d website and on other places about 3d printing...

Re: Easiest 3D modeling software?

depends what you want to model and what amount of $$$ is not too much :) I'll talk only about the SW I know and use, there are many more but I can't talk from personal experience so .. I used: - LightWave - exist for many decades, very good for mesh modeling, not a very big community, kinda dead, ni...

Re: A way to export all print settings in a non-proprietary format

How would you feel about just a zip of n selected profiles? You can import them in bulk already by selecting multiple FFF files so this would easily allow you to export each one and import each one. The files can be diffed for viewing changes. Parsing them to CSV might be more of a chore at that po...

Re: Please stop storing megabytes in windows registry :(

That registry contains the profile database. You mentioned storing table models, last loaded model file, etc... I'm not able to find any of those items being stored in the registry as more than just a reference to the file from which to load these items. As you said, storing the configurations in t...

Re: Please stop storing megabytes in windows registry :(

Re: Please sto storing megabytes in windows registry :(

Thanks for the feature request. Can you be more specific about which keys are being used to store such large quantities of data that is an unacceptable use of said storage location? I'd be happy to suggest a change if I can come to our developers with more information. Thanks again! [HKEY_CURRENT_U...

Re: A way to export all print settings in a non-proprietary format

Thanks for your feature request. I'm happy to document this for our development team. What sort of format would you like the settings exported in? CSV, XLS, etc...? *any* format, as long as - it is 100% documented - it can be imported back into S3D I personally think that if it's key/value then INI...

Re: Paid upgrade For 2019 upcoming Version 5.0

I'm honestly baffled that S3D has, up until now, and continues to let these worries go unanswered. I thought about this 'cause it makes zero sense to me... found out some less known info about s3d... still stuff didn't make sense to me .. so I concluded that "as is" they are either selling ton of l...

Re: Paid upgrade For 2019 upcoming Version 5.0

IF they release 5.0 I will look at it with the "no preview / no trial" policy s3d goes with ... I'm pretty sure I will not look at it but right now, I am really living in the PS2.0 camp I'm slic3r user for years, moved to prusa fork some time back, then moved to that german fork with autolayerheigh...
