Re: Smart pillar and ramming

Even with 4.1.1 I'm still using filaswitch in post processing to achieve the functionality that I think is required for multi Material single Hotend machines. Least the pillar is actually smart and adaptive using filaswitch

As title suggests I'd like to see a smart prime pillar that uses support style infill when there isn't a tool change that layer, stops when there isn't anymore tool changes.
And add ramming settings or purge retracts for single Hotend multi Material printers

Re: Start script

i had a similar behaviour when i didnt use relative moves for the extruder, when the start script ends it will call the extruder to 0mm and due to it being absolute is will reverse the extruder as youve stated

Re: retraction broken?

I'm finding I get blobs at unretraction points after travel moves. Use same factory file in 4.0.1 and it's perfectly fine

Re: Bridged perimeters

So it could possibly be classed as a bug I guess, but maybe a few more parameters in the process settings would allow people to choose how the perimeter behaves. I hope the developers read through this as im really back where we were with v3.1 and sticking supports under the perimeters when bridging...

Anyways, when rendering a bridged perimeter Simplify3d doesnt apply ALL of the bridging settings to the perimeters......specifically the extra inflation distance as per below biggest drama about this is the nozzle doesnt have t...
