Re: S3D Development Update - Aug 2018

Yea where's the beef??? This update says nothing but we're working on things. +1 Cura has surpassed S3D, and they are actively updating with new features and fixing bugs. The processes for different objects in S3D are great. Custom supports, I love. But haven't seen an update or any new features in...

Re: which is the best 3d printer available in the market under 1500$?

Like most things, people have there own needs from a printer. So you need to take into account not just how much you can spend but what do you need the most, eg build size, dual print heads, heated bed, printer rez, easy to use, how much you need to use it.

Re: Build time still way out

What i have personally started to do is load the model in flashprint (I have a flashforge dreamer) see what time that says (using same settings) and then load and print from S3D. It's a shame that the printer profiles don't take them speeds into account and its something i was hopeful that version 4...

Build time still way out

The build time in the software if still way out, next to the real print time, eg if software says 6 hours, really it ends up being over 8 hours, for bigger builds this can make the time really far out.

I have a heated bed, printing at 0.4 layer height. The bed just has build tak on it. Thank you Sidney...
