There is an experimental algo in marlin that calculates built in pressure in the nozzle and reduces the extrusion till the end to relieve that pressure .. sort of like varable coasting directly in firmware. it is not a hw problem, if the problem was that hdmi is not fast enough for that amount of pixels (it is not, that's why you have to run 30hz, upgrading to displayport will probbly give you 50-60hz on the same screen) there would not be an image on the screen, but since there is an image on the scre...

Does anyone know if thin wall handling in simplify3D 4.0 has changed at all? Ideally giving the user the ability to decide what to do for a thin wall (ie print it at the thinnest it can for the current nozzle diameter or some other option?) Simplify3D is so customisable in most other areas I can't ...

I installed 4.0, it installed in different location from 3.1.1 and picked up settings, licence etc.. , now I have both running, tried open 4, close, open 3, close .. it works .. nothing crashes .. I plan to keep them both on the same box for a while (till I see v4 is stable and better and that 3.1.1...
