Re: Elegible for upgrade?

If S3D starts a phone home system, I will be demanding my money back.
I was also under the impression all future upgrades would be free.
Can't say I'm happy about this.

Re: Blobs in Vase Mode

Try slowing down the print.

It might be slowly building up around the nozzle, then when there is enough, it blobs up onto the print.

Re: Undersized holes

I'm with the OP here.
I've been printing for a few years now, and have constantly had this issue.
(Inside dimensions, especially holes) are small then they should be)

Thanks for the 'work around' but I would rather have a solution.

In the meantime, I will continue to modify the model.

Re: 3D Design Software

I've been using ViaCAD pro. Currently $250, but there are coupon codes out there... Its also off line, no connection required. Full purchase price. I hate this rental crap. It has its issues, but for the price I find it fantastic. (I see the upgrade for me is 99 bucks... I'll be picking it up later ...

Screen Consolidation (Machine Control Panel)

I would like to make this recommendation (Or propose something similar)
There seems to be lots of space available in this screen, and IMHO, having something like this is so much more usable (convenient)
- No need to flip screen tabs to see or do what needs to be done.

Thanks,

Re: Support outside of Brim?

Okay, ill keep a better eye on things.
Still new to the software and learning the ins and outs...

Maybe have this added to the feature set...
To have the brim skirt placed outside the support material.

Thanks!

Re: Support outside of Brim?

Good to know, thanks, but not really what I was referring to.

You can see in the pic that the support material was printed directly on the priming perimeter. (The skirt/brim)

I would have thought the skirt/brim would be printed OUTSIDE the support material as well, not on top of it.

New option: Infill Perimeter Outline

I would like to see an "Infill Perimeter Outline" function added. I find that when a new inside platform is being printed on top of the infill, at the edges, there is nothing for the platform to sit on, and the extruded material balls up on the end of the extruder, then blobs up on the closest spot....

Support outside of Brim?

Just wondering if this is the norm?
I would have thought the brim would have included the support material?
