Re: Paid upgrade For 2019 upcoming Version 5.0

In another thread somebody posted a ''Way back machine'' link and as far as I can see Simplify3D never stated you would get free updates for life. I have a S3D license for years now and have received a couple of free updates and don't expect or demand this to be free forever. I'm happy with what I h...

Re: Profile handling

I would really like to see this changed. Profiles are just not easily managed in S3D now.

Re: Support separation gap, raft speed, and auto arrange distance management

I also would lik to see this as an added feature. I think raft and support separation gap should/could be the same. I have seen with other slicers and printers this actually works. I had to print a lot of models with 0.3 mm layer height and the bottom surfaces just looked terrible because of the mas...

Re: FlashForge Finder doesn't wait for extruder target temp

Thanks for the help. I didn't get it to work yet sadly. There's a thread here also: https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=7474 In there somebody writes FlashForge will release firmware that will fix this issue. Turns out that they changed something in the software I think that criples the...

Re: Flashforge Finder User here?

I also have problems with a new FlashForge Finder and S3D, I have contacted support and started this thread: https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=8719 For me, when I export it as .g and use the standard S3D profile the Finder starts but doesn't wait for the extruder to get to 220 degrees...

FlashForge Finder doesn't wait for extruder target temp

Hello, I have searched online and on this forum and tried different things but I can't get Simplify3D to work with my FlashForge Finder. The standard profile exports in gcode and FF doesn't read that anymore, I know it works with different extensions like .gx and .g so by ''stealing'' a line from an...

Re: Slicer behavior for thin walled sections

+1 On more wall thickness options ;)

I would like to be able to get Simplify3D to slice single walls for instance.

Re: Eliminate Bug/Feature - Raft of closed shapes

When I posted my problem here with the raft offset I got a mail from S3D that there will be an update (soon I hope) with several features added that users have asked for. The message wasn't clear about if this raft issue will be fixed but let's hope so :D

Re: Eliminate Bug/Feature - Raft of closed shapes

I have been searching for a fix for this, thinking I might have missed a setting. Is this still not fixed? With large models you can waste a lot of time and material. I'm now printing a funnel and the raft is one big circle in stead of a ring. The raft offset from part really should be in all direct...
