Re: No extrusion K8400 in V4.1.1

I am also using 4.1.1 on the Vertex K8400 - my printer settings are migrated to each update. Up until now, everything has been working as expected. However, my primary layer height - due to my manually dialed in & fixed height from the printbed - is always the same 0,20mm. To clarify: All my layer h...

Re: Lubrication of the printer

- For the rods of my cartesian printer, I use a light machine oil, commonly referred to as "sewing machine oil".

- For the gears & bearings on my (larger) delta printer, I use thinly applied vaseline grease.

Hope this helps? :-)

Re: Where is version 4.1?

- Autosave profile settings after clicking OK Oops - I sure hope, that is NOT going to be included? I frequently use temporary settings, intended for use with a single print only - I'd hate to see my standard profle being updated with my 1-off settings. I'd need to re-import my standard profile aft...

Re: S3D puts bridge on top of supports

Quite right - I was having the idea, that the bridge needed to come out too: I had it totally wrong.

Thanks for the pointers, gents - much appreciated. :D

Re: S3D puts bridge on top of supports

Just another question on the bridge layer, that's added to supports... I seem to have a height issue, where I now have to sand off the bridge layer, as it won't come off the part. S3D bridge in print.jpg S3D bridge.JPG In my support settings, I have 2 layers dense support at 50% - these come out eas...

Re: Add scaling to "Dimensional Adjustments" on "Other" tab.

Hi Doug, Thanks for your response. The >>double click on a model<< scaling, is the one I was referring to in my post. I'd like to have the ability to put a similar scaling option as this one to be "fixed" on every import. When you point to the scaling under "general options" from the Tools menu: ple...

Add scaling to "Dimensional Adjustments" on "Other" tab.

I've looked through the forum & couldn't find this - so I figured I'd submit this as a new feature request: - Add "Scale X%" / "Scale Y%" / "Scale Z%" modifiers to "Dimensional Adjustments". On the button bar menu is a function "Scale models (E)". In the dialog box that opens up is an option "Change...

Re: Layer thickness & first layer height.

Perfect, seems to work like a charm! The values show up in the software just perfectly.

I'll do a test print soon, but it looks like this is exactly what I needed! :D

Thanks again!
