Re: thin walls not always filled with single extrusions

With a single wall the factory file got small enough to be attached. Picture 1 is with 0,44 extrusion width (S3D auto determines 0,48!). No matter what infill-settings, bottom and top layers are missing. No fill / infill. Gaps are clearly visible in both the preview as well as in the actual print. 1...

never touched the upper part....and the nozzle I screwed in very tight.
Do not tighten the nozzle in the block!
The nozzle needs to be tightened against the heat sink!

thin walls not always filled with single extrusions

I may have discovered an other one here. Sometimes thin walls are not filled as expected by single extrusion. No matter how high I set the infill there is just nothing in between inner and outer perimeter. Playing with nozzle sizes (which I do not want) eventually I will at least get a solid infill ...

Re: missing dense support when combining every 2nd layer

Please attach your factory file. Our support team will look into this. Your factory file should include your model, and only the processes used for slicing the model. This will help us to determine if a bug has successfully been replicated and can be documented for fixing. Trying to upload my facto...

Re: vase mode

They did not say it’s a bug, who told you this? See two posts above... That the Support Team admitted this is not expected behaviour and the problem is not the model is a fact ... That is what this is all about. If it is not the model, it must be the slicer. What else? S3D has its flaws, no questio...

Re: vase mode

I take it that this is (just to be sure) the vase # 9 of all those vases provided in the above given download link. Checking the mesh wit FreeCad it shows that that mesh has lots of defects. See picture # 1 1.PNG Depending on extrusion widths (with 0,4mm it does not happen at all) I could reproduce ...

Re: vase mode

what a great support forum. . I think it is, indeed... no offense, but what you are trying to tell is ridiculous. What I take as ridicilous is a noob telling dkightley as one of the most experienced ones here being ridicilous. I've checked the integrity of stl in Netfabb, no bug in it. ....... Ever...
