Re: Return to print preview screen?

You can simply click on "Prepare to Print" again and it returns to the preview. This works even when there's a print in progress.

NB - This is on Windows, but I assume that Mac version does the same.

Re: String at end of print, opposite corner all mucked up

4.1 has a selection for random so the zits are all around the the part. Yes, 4.1 has the option, but it doesn't work the same as 4.0. And yes, the process is not perfect. You need to learn to live with some minor imperfections with FDM printing. In what way is it different? I wasn't aware that it w...

Re: How To Cut Apart Large Objects

If you have Windows10, it's very simple to slice the model in 3D Builder and then export discrete STLs and print separately.

Re: Raft Above Supports

If I understand what you're asking, could you not just add dense supports at 100%?

Ah, OK. that makes sense. Disappointing but it makes sense.

Thanks for your reply.

Change settings mid-print on Creator Pro

Hello, S3D supports changing speed, temperature etc "on the fly" during a print. I have a Creator Pro which is running Sailfish firmware. My understanding is that Sailfish should support this feature. However, if I try to use it I'm told that it doesn't. Can anyone confirm whether this should work o...

Re: Nozzle Tearing Tape at 0.05

Silly question (forgive this) but you don't have the tape overlapping anywhere, do you? Are you using multiple strips or one wide one? I assume the former, so if there's even a slight overlap the extruder will hit this "high point".

Model manipulation after support creation

I seem to have uncovered a problem but perhaps it's unique. Cause Use the utility to generate support for a model. After the supports are created, rotate the model 180degrees in the Z axis. Everything seems OK and the supports rotate with the model as expected. Symptom After the rotation, the model ...

Re: Progress time

You can see the layer number if you have live preview on and preview by layer. It shows the current layer on the "max" slider. There is no way (AFAIK) to see time remaining. This is something which has been requested before. However, it has also been observed that the Build Time estimate tends to be...

Re: Duel Extrusion split processes help

I normally get around this by turning off the unused extruder. That way there'll be no ooze to worry about and no ooze shield will be offered (or if it is, you can remove it in the later process).
