Re: M3D Crane Quad setup

Stand by. I'm close to being able to release a profile to the Crane GitHub. I'll include a link to the GitHub location in this thread once I'm done. I took the profile that S3D gave me and made some tweaks to make it act more like the official profile for other slicers, specifically to prime the fou...

Re: First Layer over support is stringy

Another thing you can look at is the print preview to see if the first layer over the support is a bridge (yellow colored). On a small part you may wish to in crease the bridge threshold so it does not create a bridge there but rather a regular layer. It may come out a little better. Conversely, I ...

Re: printing over usb vs sd card

An SD card will usually be faster than an old computer for the simple reason that the computer can get bogged down doing other things, which can negatively impact the data rate. Re: Pause at layer height

Another option is to split the printing process into two at the height where you want to pause. Set the bottom process to have 0 top layers and the top process to have 0 bottom layers and run the processes one at a time. You'll also need to turn off any homing commands in the scripts for the top pro...

Re: Missing Corners

It appears that the STL is comprised of multiple objects. The quickest way to address it is to select "Separate Connected Surfaces" in the Mesh menu. The more involved way is to import the STL into an app like Meshmixer and apply its fixing tools.

Re: Multi processes by layer

Not that I'm aware of, but I would welcome this feature. The profile has the layer heights, so it should be an easy calculation.

Re: Can't Preview G-Code

Sounds like a setting in the software. All my previews come up with the min slider at minimum and the max slider at maximum.
