Re: Zits generated by Simplify3d

Those spheres are representations of where the extruder is retracting or priming. If you're getting blobs and zits in those ares some retraction tuning is in order.

Re: Failing prints from the start

My first thought would be that the nozzle is too close to the build plate. However, if you're having this issue on top of a raft you may have issues with extrusion multiplier that need to be resolved. https://www.simplify3d.com/support/print-quality-troubleshooting/not-extruding-at-start-of-print/ h...

Re: Feature request: an update to my software

And also a setting of a pe...

It's been a year and a half since you updated your software.
This is true. Was there a particular feature you were interested in seeing in our next update?

Also, +1

Similarly to how this post describes adding printing speed to the quality sections of a profile you can accomplish the same thing by adding the global offset Z to the material sections.

Re: How to get a preview of you MACHINE

As CompoundCarl said: Once you have your own STL file for the printer bed, you can go to Tools > Options, Machine tab, and then add the printer model at the bottom. Note that if you're using a profile that overrides your machine settings, then you will need to go to File > Export FFF Profile to save...
