Re: Print quality when printing thin structures/segments

Can you post your factory file?

Also, have you already read the article about thin walls here:

Re: Infill Geometry S3D vs Cura

There are lots of issues with that STL file. If you go to Repair > Identify Self-Intersecting Surfaces in S3D, you will see some of the problem areas. It looks like there are many surfaces that were never joined together in the CAD package. As others mentioned, you can sometimes work around this by ...

Re: Bad preview

There are many problems with your mesh. Go to Repair > Identify Self-Intersecting Surfaces and you will see some of them. You can easily see them with the cross-section tool as well. It looks like each of the arms on the outside of the hub were never actually merged with that part of the mesh. So yo...

Re: No retraction between processes

Your factory file works fine for me in the latest 4.0.1 version. When I load it there is clearly a retraction when it moves to each process, and then it does a wiping retraction right before leaving the process. So it appears to work fine in the current version. Try re-downloading the latest install...

Re: Infill Geometry S3D vs Cura

Can you attach your factory file (File > Save Factory File)?

It's hard to give advice without it

Re: Missing part in Simplify3D print preview

Did you make this STL file yourself? The main beam was not joined to the and of the arm, so it isn't a valid 3D mesh. Instead you just have 2 separate surfaces that are self intersecting and not properly merged. There are also problems with the vertical backplate near the motor mount. You can see th...

Re: CR10-s printing mirrored

Go to Help > Configuration Assistant and re-download the stock CR-10 profile. I use that same profile with my CR-10, so the directions it configures by default are definitely correct. If your printer is still going the wrong way, then you post likely have one of the motors wired backwards or a probl...
