Re: G code to keep nozzle hot during filament change

I'm looking for the G code to keep nozzle hot during filament change. I'm using {IF "[current_layer_number] == 7"}M600 to do the change, but If I don't get on it right away, the nozzle cools off. I'd like to keep it hot. Once M600 is exectued the printers firmware will handle the filament...

Re: How do I use these script boxes for color change

I've been googling all morning and all I can find is information that is several years old. I wan to simply change colors at a particular layer height, but I have not found anything referring to the new layout. Instead I see posts telling me to place some code in boxes that aren't there anymore. Us...

Re: Tool Change Scripting Bug

as for the "", it is because the old V4 way apparently did not need them, or the == part like in coding. However, in V5 this is the layer change scripting way: {IF "[current_layer_number] == 1"}M221 S115 ; increase flow rate by 10% for layer 1 {IF "[current_layer_number] ==...

Should do the trick. No v5 here, but can't remember putting conditionals inside quotation marks in the past...

Re: Keyboard shortcuts for move and rotate

The shortcuts were slightly changed in V5. I'll explain below. In V4, you had to constantly press and hold a button every time you wanted to move a model. For example, if you wanted to arrange 10 different parts on the print bed, this was very tedious. Hm, did I miss something? Q/W/E/R are keys I'v...

Re: Filament runout speed

The issue we are facing occurs when the filament runs out and is then automatic retracted and fed back. The filament gets crushed into small pieces and gets stuck in the extruder gears during this retraction process. Our goal is to avoid this problem. Unless you're printing from a host and you mana...

Re: Filament runout speed

We have converted 11 Creality CR6 max, to direct drive with bondtech extruder LGX Lite. We experience that the filament is ground into pieces and get stuck in the extruder gears, when the filament is automatically fed back in connection with filament runout. I hope we can insert a command that slow...

Not upgraded to v5 yet. Do I understand you correctly, you're saying they removed this possibility from v5?

Re: what ever happened to editing your own print bed image?

I REALLY need to be able to add some index /linesmarks on my print bed to define print specific print areas for a variety of reasons (damaged ereas to avoid, spacings etc etc) does anyone know a work around in V5?? No v5, so can't test it. But in v4 you could override the settings from the GUI with...

Re: Small Top/Bottom Infill along chamfer perimeter

I was hoping there was a setting somewhere to define the overhang that requires this extra reinforcement or to simply turn it off. Didn't update to v5, but judging by the answer given by S3D-Jason this still can't simply be turned off? Hmm... :| ... and there is NO WAY to remove that except to turn...
