Re: Bug when pausing/resume v2.1.0 win7 64bit

I agree when moving x y or z manually. but the extrudermotor does not need to know where it is. So it's stupid to have a paus function then? Never be able to change filament..? If moving z then i do it with the buttons, the software should remember how many steps i moved, then move back. That functi...

Re: Feature request: Grid spacing

I can't get that to work. No matter what model i choose, it will not show. s3d say it is too small, scale it? Also, you can model any flat surface and import it into your S3D environment as a grid surface. You use the feature in S3D that allows you to include a model on startup. It's in Tools->Optio...

Re: Feature request: Grid spacing

I have already "complained" about this ;) It is the same for all i think. It should read the machine settings to set the grid i think.
So if you have entered 210x210 as bed, it should be 21x21 squares.

E3D hotend and retraction/coasting.

There is some manufacturing problems with E3D for some of us users when it jams all to often, so the solution is to run almost or no filament retraction. But then it will ooze and string a lot, so i use "coasting" so it will stop extruding a bit before every loop. That goes well for long l...

Re: Bug when pausing/resume v2.1.0 win7 64bit

Well i did write "change filament" so... Yes it is when i have paused, clicked on raise z, and disable motors. Unless i disable motors i can't turn extruder gear.
Then when unpausing, it returns to the original position and then sometimes goes whacko.

Bug when pausing/resume v2.1.0 win7 64bit

(Velleman K8200 with e3d hotend) I sometimes wants to pause a print to change filament, but the following has happened a couple of times now: When unpausing the extrudermotor goes whacko, and either extrudes or retracts a silly amount of filament. Maybe in the 10cm range or so. So either i get a LAR...

Re: Obtuse Layer Heights

I thought it was checking the height of yor object and then calculated the layerheight to get an even number of layers?
If you set layer height to 0.15mm and your object is 100mm then you get 666.66 layers, where you cannot print the .66 rest.

Re: very long print time due to non efficient print paths

I have same problem when trying to print a round fanholder. It zigzags on the round part from one side to the other.
Taking very long time to print when its doing this.

The new version quirk with printing

The "Begin printing over USB" just gives me "Unable to export to selected location" on 2 Machines for me. What selected location?? I can't find anything in the docs and nothing in the settings. But i can print it anyway, because it appears in the machine Control G-Code library. O...
