Where can I download the older (functioning...) version?

With 4.1 being as buggy as it is, I would rather go back to the working 4.0.1 version - can you make this download available please? Or alternatively, post a list of bugs and when the release with the fixes will be provided? The 4.1 version causes so many issues that it is pretty much unusable and w...

Re: Printer never starts printing, but shows "Print Complete"

I have the same problem with 4.1 and an Anycubic I3 Mega.

If you go into the control panel (ctrl + p) first and connect the printer manually, it should work. If not, restart the printer and try connecting again. Definitely another bug in 4.1...

[FIXED] 4.1 major problem with supports on duplicated parts

Version 4.1 has a major bug when it comes to duplication of parts with supports. All supports show perfectly fine in the model view, but only the first part actually prints with the support. It was a standard/automatic support (from base only) in the first part. With all the bugs reported in 4.1, it...

Geetech A30 profile anybody?

I was wondering if anybody here has a working profile for the Geetech A30 printer (or something that might work as a starting baseline). As the base for the supported printers slowly gets pretty outdated, I already reached out to "support" to see if they had a suggestion, but did not get a response ...

Re: Simplify3D Won't Launch Properly

Seems to be an old problem, but after 2 years of using it (W7-64), the exact same problem. It will not start. Process is running, but nothing is being displayed. No error in the event log either. I wonder if that is their crappy licensing server that times out and never responds to requests?

Re: FlashForge Creator Pro left extruder retraction issue

So, a problem that existed since 2016 and still, the community was not able to help any further?

Would love to attach the factory file, but as it contains IP that I am not willed to share in public, a bit unrealistic. Pointing at which command in the gcode causes the retraction would help...

Re: FlashForge Creator Pro left extruder retraction issue

I have seen this lately after the ooze line has been printed. After printing that line it retracts about 10 mm - with hot printing temps, this is causing pretty bad clogging as the soft/liquid filament is pushed above the nylon insert, hardens and then it requires removing of the nozzle to clean the...

Re: S3D puts bridge on top of supports

I have exactly the same problem with the first layer over support being a bridge. That bridge layer is not connecting to the rest of the print and I end up bonding them with a torch lighter - which surprisingly works, but is not the solution for the problem. I'll try the suggestion with changing the...

Re: Why do my layers look like this?

I would try higher temperature, slower print speed of 40-50mm/s, different resolution (0.2mm layer height?) and leveling the build plate.
