Re: Automatic Force Next

I'm pretty sure that exactly what the settings on the Communication tab of firmware config window already do (go to Tools > Firmware Configuration). You set the "communication timeout" and if the software doesn't receive a response from the printer within that many seconds, it automaticall...

Re: RepRap extruder temperature problem

You probably have bad PID settings. That controls the rate that the extruder will heat up and how it will stabilize. I believe some firmwares like Marlin have an option to auto-tune the PID settings that you could use to fix it.

Re: extrusion multiplier vs. extrusion override... not the s

Both settings have an identical affect. So if you had 125% for the extrusion override, that's the same as 1.25 for the extrusion multiplier with the extrusion override in the Machine Control Panel set back to 100%.

Works fine for me. Are you running the latest 3.0.2 version of the software?

Re: No Dual Extrusion Wizard

The easiest way to do this is to start with a profile that already works in the configuration assistant. For example, download the Leapfrog Creatr Dual profile and then make any changes that you need for your printer. It's much easier to start with a profile that already supports everything needed f...

Re: Using the 'auto-configure extruders' option with...

You have to add the <autoConfigureExtruder> options into the profile. Go to File > Export FFF Profile, and compare your Prusa i3 profile to one like the Creatr HS. You will see the added sections in the bottom of the Leapfrog profile.

Re: X3G files not being created

This program requires that you have the 32bit libc.so and libm.so. You probably already had these 2 installed as a dependency of some other package you had installed. Go re-download the software and do your tests again. All of the files in my installation directory are 64-bit, including the gpx fil...

Decrease your support pillar resolution to 1mm. This video explains it better: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tlrCpwAV4M

Re: X3G files not being created

Are you using 64 bit Linux? They have a bug where the program to create x3g files is a separate 32 bit dynamically linked program. Without the necessary 32bit libraries installed, Simplify3D cannot create xg3 files. I'm not sure why you would say that? I have the 64-bit version of S3D installed and...

Re: Simplify3D and Repetier Server

No, you just export the file and then upload it like you would with any other slicer.
