Re: S3d code for Taz 6 v3

Any luck? I'm hoping it's working - just don't know what the issues are that didn't make it easier to port over for s3d. As a note to anyone, I think you should just be able to put the bed leveling macro directly back to starting gcode (with a tiny bit of editing) if you want to do bed leveling each...

Re: First layer help?

Definitely try z offset as a significant thing. But you might be underextruding as well if it is stringing or not finishing the top of some. You can up the extrusion multiplier. Do let us know how you come along, I've been having that problem suddenly and I'm also not sure how to fix it as it is not...

S3d code for Taz 6 v3

Crossposting from Lulzbot forum for everyone like me that was really frustrated with Cura and really wanted an S3d profile for the Taz6 v3 dual extruder head! It's not perfect and I'm definitely looking for help, maybe something official from the s3d guys. Feel free to take what works and integrate ...

Re: Question for multiple processes and dual extruding

Thanks for all the thoughts! I actually did most of them while fine tuning and getting it all working yesterday (took days and quite a bit of patience and focus). I've gotten pretty good figuring out the starting and ending scripts, though I think I've still got one or two kinks left. Dual Extrusion...

Re: Printer stopping issue

It sounds like a problem I just started having with my lulzbot taz now that I'm tuning it for dual extrusion I need to leave it plugged in. It will randomly stop a while leave a big gob of filament, then continue. I was pretty certain my usb power saving features were disabled though.

Re: Lulzbot Taz 6 V3 Duel Head Offset

Absolutely having those issues, I've nearly solved them and almost have an fff ready to share (just testing a little more before I share it). Next week it will be on here sometime. So the things you need to know if you don't want to wait that long: - The offset you need to put in is X13 for tool hea...

Question for multiple processes and dual extruding

So I'm trying to figure out how to pull some Cura settings over to s3d for my Lulbot Taz 6 with the new v3 extruder I just got. I'd also like to be able to share it. As there are 2 extruders, I need two processes, but I REALLY need some help pointing me to the right place in understanding order of o...

Re: Z - Offset in S3D - not zero for some parts

Part alignment numbers are really stupid from getting imported from other programs. No matter what plane I make them in in Solidworks, it never goes flat like it should!
