Re: Crashing Constantly on Process Update

Ah well. It was nice while it lasted. No more graphics crashes, but had an S3D one this afternoon while updating a profile. So... ...back to exporting every single fff before and after modifying a profile. Rats!! Since fixing the Nvidia driver issue on the 5th Nov, no crashes of any sort other this ...

Re: Crashing Constantly on Process Update

..I had maybe total 2 or 3 crashes in some weird situations like my nvidia driver restarted or I loaded some huge part ... Thank you for posting this snippet - I think in my case, you might have found the cause. Like you I have four screens. I had noticed the occasional screen redraw on icons I cou...

Re: Crashing Constantly on Process Update

BTW, might have to do with Win10! I'm still on Win7 on all my workhorses as I find Win10 unfortunately unusable! I so agree. Win10 is an utter POS on desktop machines. I won't use it for anything other than out of desperation or to provide compatibility with a customer's machine. Currently migratin...

Re: Crashing Constantly on Process Update

Did you guy's maybe tried the solution mentioned in few other posts? ..................................... Btw export/import of the profiles did not work for me, I had to manually recreate them to solve the problem. Hi upsm. Thanks for the reply. I'll give it a go on the new NUC I have just built w...

Re: Crashing Constantly on Process Update

Just as a follow-up to my last post - removing SpyBot and CCleaner stuff made no difference either. Still randomly crashing on updating processes. Grabbing at straws here - it seems that most complaints are when people are creating FlashForge Creator Pro processes... I wonder if that is it? Maybe th...

Re: Crashing Constantly on Process Update

Am still getting this with the new version, only not quite as bad. I did notice that not being logged-in improved the situation a little, but I really don't think this has any true connection, but is just an anecdotal/hopeful response by me. I wonder if this could still be down to either of the foll...

Re: Reset corrupt FFF profile

And now S3D is crashing again when I try to modify FFF settings, looks like I get to re-do everything a third time :( Also, I print off SD cards, so it has nothing to do with printing from USB in my case. As others have also said, sadly one or more of your profiles is corrupt. The best way I have f...

Re: Profile Missing Autoconfigure Settings

Yup. I've fallen afoul of this more times than I care to count, before I realised what was going on. Before you start getting lots of crashes when editing/saving profiles, write down your settings (if you need to keep them) and delete this profile ASAP. Note: Although this profile is corrupt, it mig...

Re: Reset corrupt FFF profile

Hi MikeO, That's great! Don't hold your breath though (I truly hope that was issue!!) Except that I don't use a USB link to print to the FFCP. SD printing only until now. :( It was only yesterday that I finally got around to connecting the USB cable permanently. Until now it had only been used for f...
