Sequential Printing of multi-process parts

I am trying to print two different parts, each with two processes, using Sequential Printing. On both parts, the process change occurs at height=5.3mm. When I preview the print it shows the following sequence: 1. Part #1 is printed to height=5.3; 2. Part #2 is printed to height=5.3; 3. Part #1 is co...

Re: New FlashForge Creator Pro X Offset problem

I noticed that they sell this fan on the FF website (http://www.flashforge-usa.com/shop/part ... o-fan.html) but wasn't sure if it fit the Creator Pro. How does it mount to the extruder assembly? And how well is it working for you?

Re: Infill Extrusion Width problem

Related question: do the First Layer Height and Width Settings affect the extrusion flow rate calculations? I.e., if I set a First Layer Height of 90% will the amount of filament extruded be reduced proportionally? Or will I get 100% extrusion, just squished down into less height? Similarly, if my F...

Re: Slow down speed for infill thin wall

This is a very frustrating problem on some cartesian printers. Sometimes there is a one small section of a part where the print head is moving back and forth very rapidly in a small area (usually thin wall infill). This causes a violent oscillation that can cause one of the axis motors to be over-to...

[ADDED] Improved Cross Section View

The Cross Section View is very useful for identifying beginning and ending heights for processes, tweaking supports, and other operations. The problem is that the position adjusters are too difficult to use. The horizontal slider is only good for coarse adjustment, and the up/down arrow buttons incr...

Not a top-tier request, but would be a welcome addition for many users.

Re: Delta owners: how do you set your Z-height?

You're right -- if you jog down using the arrow keys like you say, the desired value can be read directly from the readout and programmed with M206. I had been using a macro button to move down to Z=1 so that wasn't working for me. The only other caveat is that it's not possible to jog down lover th...

Re: Delta owners: how do you set your Z-height?

Well yes, but the readout shows the differential from the current Z Max value in EEPROM, not the absolute. That means you have to know the current value in order to calculate the new value. And, if you've benn changing the current value in your Starting G-Code script, you have to first send M205 to ...

Re: Delta owners: how do you set your Z-height?

Okay, I'll try that - thanks. Still seems too complicated, though, since it means you have to know your current Z max EEPROM value, jog to your desired offset, calculate the new value based on the readout, then edit the G-code script accordingly. Couldn't there be a button on the jog screen to "...
