Removing the registry keys works. you are probably running multi monitor and have nvidia card. this is opengl driver bug on nvidia :( every time you leave the s3d on the "non primary" monitor it will fail to start next time (till you remove those keys so it starts on the primary monitor) ...

Without a factory file no one can say what settings have been used and/or how the benchy has been printed... What you're seeing there is called a "Z scar", that's where the retracts happened. So it might be worth it having a closer look at them as they often are very specific to material/e...
