Re: 100+ lines of extra g-code

Please save a copy of your factory file and attach it. That way we can see all of the process settings being applied to your print.

Re: I really hope someone can help me. I've been through too many 3D printers, so I know I'm the issue.

If you're using the "High" quality preset I'd recommend using 200% first layer height and something more like 35% first layer speed to get a really good first layer bonding. To combat stringing and oozing issues you usually need to adjust retraction options. 6mm distance at 2400mm/min will...

Re: Looking for 3d model of complex shape

The patterns you've provided as examples are typically referenced with the name "Voronoi". They look to me as if they wouldn't work well for a purse because I'd assume you'd like your purse to actually be able to house things without them falling out. :D You could of course overcome that i...

Re: Account for wipe when determining seam location

This should really depend on what is causing the seam in your prints. Is the seam being caused by the vertical movement after the wiping is done or is it caused by the stationary retraction that occurs before the wipe takes place? If I recall correctly the retraction still takes place where the manu...

Re: Can we at least get an update that includes the latest printer profiles

Hi guys! Thanks for your interest in being able to download the latest profiles directly from a central repository. We don't yet have something like this available to our users. But I can certainly see the benefit that would add for a lot of our customers! I'll document this request for our develope...

Re: Printing living hinge

External single extrusions will get printed as their own "pass". So you would need to modify the width of the hinge in your model or change the extrusion width used in your extruder controller in order to force this area to get printed using "Perimeters Only" setting.

Re: Missing Parts Between Model and Print

1. Make sure your model is manifold and free of self intersecting surfaces. If there are errors, you can typically solve them quickly by importing your model into Microsoft's 3D Builder application and then saving it again. 2. Make sure that if you're attempting to print sections that are thinner th...

Re: Can not connect to the activation server....

As I said, our team members are able and ready to assist with this issue. Files on your local system need to be updated to use the latest security certificates. This is something that normally is automatically updated by the operating system's security patches but if you've disabled those or are no ...
