May be a bump of the printbed and / or the Kapton caused by heat expansion.

H.
If that was the case, I should be able to simply preheat the bed and see it.

Re: Experienced but new and odd issue

Thanks Doug. The Kapton tape is new and I've been using Kapton tape like this for years with no issues. Take an ultra high res close up, flash lit photo of your print bed and I'm sure it'll look even dirtier :) This is definitely an issue somewhere else....just haven't been able to find it yet, but ...

Experienced but new and odd issue

I have a unique issue that started recently that I haven't had before and the resolution eludes me so far. For the sake of this issue, let's say I'm printing a rectangle that is 2 inches by 5 inches and 1/8 inch thick. Here's a photo of the results..... https://i.imgur.com/QlCPPDU.jpg The area that'...

Re: Blisters under Kapton Tape after removing build

I may give PEI a shot. I think Kapton Tape on Glass may work better than Kapton Tape on the anodized Aluminum Bed that came with the printer. The anodizing is a somewhat matte finish which I believe is allowing the Kapton Tape to lift in small areas where the build adhesion to the Kapton Tape exceed...

Blisters under Kapton Tape after removing build

I love Kapton Tape. I works well (for me) most of the time. The only complaint is that too often, when I remove a build it leaves what I call blisters under the tape. It is actually small places where the tape has lifted. These are a result of the build sticking to the tape and pulling it up off the...

Re: Adding Audio Alerts at selects points in a build

The common Gcode to do that is..... M300 S300 P250 Where S300 is the frequency and P250 is the Duration It seems to depend on the machine as to whether or not it will "beep" when it encounters this code. I have a MakerBot Clone, so it should work on my machine. I may have to create a test file to tr...

Re: Modifying the Gcode, then creating x3g

The GPX converter is a stand alone. Here is a link for the GPX converter and GPXui for windows. Once installed and set up then just generate your files from S3D as usual and then grab the gcode one and modify the run it through the GPX or the other one and save where you want it. https://github.com...
