Where can I get PARTS for my 3D printer?

I have a Makerbot Replicator 2 clone.

I need to replace a few of the bearings and a few other plastic parts.

Looked on ebay and amazon and there wasn't much there.

Anyone know a good source for those kinds of parts?

Any good way to bond PLA to PETG ?

I use weld on 4 for PLA and it works great.

But it doesn't bond PLA to PETG.

Does anyone know of a solvent that can bond those two together permanently?

Thanks

Re: Continue a failed print

In some cases it may be easier to just slice the part horizontally in S3D at the point where the failed print stopped (and the remainder should start), then make that sliced piece a new print all it's own, then print that section as a new print and use a product called Weld-On 4 to permanently fuse ...

Re: Tip of the Day 28 - Restarting a stopped print

My startup G-Code doesn't have a single G28 code in it... It appears my machine uses G161 and G162 for those homing commands ; **** Replicator 1 dual start.gcode **** M73 P0 ; Enable build progress G162 X Y F3000 ; Home XY maximum G161 Z F1200 ; Home Z minimum G92 Z-5 ; Set Z to -5 G1 Z0 ; Move Z to...

Re: What happened here? (Photo)

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm going to disassemble the extruder this weekend and see if there's a clog. What causes a clog at the nozzle? Never had one before in over 1000 hours of printing. I would have though that anything that makes it as far as the nozzle would just melt and go through (assume...

What happened here? (Photo)

Never had this particular issue. Seems everything was going fine then this. The bottom 1/2 inch or so printed normally, there should have been another inch that looked exactly like the bottom part that printed ok. Instead the upper last inch came out as a bird's nest. This exact same file printed fi...

Re: Best way to print hollow cylindrical items

One other thing that would really speed this up is if instead of printing squiggly infill, the walls of the cylinders (which are about 2.4mm thick) where simply all outline. I've tried increasing he outline size but it still seems to force a tiny bit of infill. Do you know any way to print thin (2.5...
