Re: V5 Dense support

Not sure I understand your gripe. The only way you're going to get smooth a supported build is by using a different material for the support that is either soluble or does not bond to the part - such as PLA support on a PETG build. Then you can set separation layers for zero and get a smooth build o...

Re: Overheating BIG TIME !

Sounds like a control board problem to me. What kind of machine?

Re: Trouble Above Supports

primary layer height 0.27mm on 0.4mm nozzle You said .8mm nozzle in your original post. .27 is a pretty heavy layer for a .4mm nozzle, so I'll assume your original nozzle size post was correct. There have only been a couple of very unique situations where I used anything other than one separation l...

Re: Intervall Gaps - in the whole print

Looks like it could be an extruder gear issue - maybe teeth clogged or worn on one side so the filament is slipping.

Re: Why same layer separate to infill?

It might be easier to decipher if you set the preview to color by feature type rather than speed.

Re: Second license

I controlled the machine with S3D for maybe 2 prints 6 years ago. Not willing to tie up a computer with a 3D printer - it's also one of the least reliable ways to print due to potential USB communication errors. I added a RasPI to my machine and used OctoPrint for a print server for a long time, unt...

Re: second layer without cooling time by multiple parts

The problem is that you have one process per part. The print islands sequentially is a PROCESS parameter. If you have one process per part it negates that feature.

If you have both parts in the same process it would do what you want (i'm pretty sure).

Great price, good features. I have no regrets. If you have more than one floor you need a charging station for each floor (or move the one that comes with it). It isn't perfect, but it's pretty good and the price is right.

Please note the first thing I said in my post:
