You have to choose the correct port and baud rate. You also need to make sure you have the Creatbot drivers already installed. It won't connect if you don't do that.
You wouldn't want to extrude extra at the end of the loop right after coasting had occurred, since that would just cause oozing issues. I imagine you would want to extrude extra at the START of the next loop, after coasting at the END of the previous loop. That makes more sense to me at least… I thi...
I just went to help > config assistant, and choose Other at the bottom. I answered the few questions it asked, and then the profile it automatically generated worked fine
I attached a profile I have been using. It's really similar to the FlashForge Dreamer. Just export the gcode and then copy to the USB drive for printing on the machine. PS - I'm not 100% sure about the M132 command in the starting script just yet. Some of the Finder commands seem to have changed. Ca...
You have to set it in the firmware. I'm pretty sure you can do this from the LCD menu. If the changes you are making aren't having any affect, then you are doing something wrong.
I thought the fans on the da Vinci were extruder fans, not cooling fans. The extruder fans are used to keep the extruder drive system from overheating, so they are different than an external cooling fan that is used to cool your print. The extruder fans are controlled automatically by the firmware, ...
1) you need to prime the extruder before starting the print. The easiest way to do this is to add a skirt in Simplify3D. Using 1 or 2 skirt perimeters is usually enough for me to make sure that the extruder is flowing cleanly. 2) use an ooze shield. This is built in S3D and will help prime each extr...
It's based on how the parts were modeled. So in your original CAD package, you just need to make sure there were modeled in the correct position relative to one another.
Yes, that is correct. If you set the first layer extrusion width to 200%, the lines will the twice as far apart as normal, and the printer will also be extruding twice as much plastic. Read through the gcode file. It's doing exactly what it should be. Extruding twice as much and the lines as twice a...
